Found myself thwarted all day. All my expectation, all my attempts at productivity, shattered by circumstance. From the beginning, it was just one of those days... though at the end, I managed to accomplish something—I carried 7 boxes, a lamp and a painting back up into the new apartment from my parents' house. At least physical exhaustion dampens despair.
In other news, Julie did excellent driving from Manhattan to Queens!
Plus dinner with my parents was really nice. They gave me a whole series of recipes/Taiwanese-cooking-techniques that I'm supposed to employ now that we have our own place, and—before too long—another mouth to feed. We'll see how that goes...
